Tutorial03
Start out with the base:
click the base to see full image
Duplicate it and desaturate it:

Duplicate the base and put it on Overlay 100%:

Take a texture (by
kaien_kun) and put it on Normal 100% between the overlay and desaturated base:

To make the image clear, but still keep the texture, just duplicate the desaturated base, place it above the texture and set it to Screen 100%:

And just a little colour added:
Take a light texture (by
_iconographer) set it on Vivid Light 19%, and fiddle with the color until it fits:

Then just slap on some text and you're done:
This is a very simple thing to do, but it can be used in different things.
